NFL U + Pro Bowl = Family Reunion

So there was a NFL Pro Bowl on Sunday in Miami. Highest ratings since 1959 and 2nd largest crowd in the same time span. Who needs Hawaii?

Anyway, an even bigger story from Miami was how many of the city's small, private university aka THE U's players were in the game. A record 11 Hurricanes made the Pro Bowl, taking the title from USC's 9 in 1986. (Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Reggie Wayne, Jon Vilma, Brandon Merriweather, Bryant McKinnie, Vince Wilfork, Frank Gore, Andre Johnson, Antrel Rolle, and Jon Beason.)

This is even more impressive of a feat when you think of how many players have made the Pro Bowl from The U's ugly stepbrother up state (FloriDUH) ALL TIME: 19

To the GayTurds Football Program" I say: THIS

One more tidbit: A player from The U has made the Pro Bowl EVERY YEAR (except 1984) SINCE 1959!!!! NINETEEN FIFTY NINE!!!!! Thats a Pro Bowler in 50 of the last 51 seasons!!!

Only 7 of these former Canes played tho. Why you ask? Well the man below (Ed Reed) had an injury and was mulling retirement. Bryant McKinnie has been in the news so you can look that up yourself, and Reggie Wayne and Jon Vilma had a prior engagement that they couldn't get out of, aka the Super Bowl.
